Temple Chayai Shalom started in 1976 as a Conservative congregation of eight families who met in their homes prior to purchasing a building in Easton in 1977. The synagogue grew steadily through its early years, affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) in 1993 and in 1996 moved into its current home at 239 Depot Street.

Over the years we have attracted many families from Easton and surrounding towns. Our congregation continues to grow; we are proud of our rich history, meaningful traditions and diverse programming for all ages.
